CORONA FLIES AWAY

The government is slowly easing off some of the COVID-19 restrictions in Switzerland. Also the Swiss Hanggliding and Paragliding Association is working hard to make our comeback possible a.s.a.p. What is the actual situation with free flying on the 11th May 2020?

  • Paragliding is generally allowed with keeping the ongoing social distancing rules
  • Paragliding schools are open and may carry on with student flights with max. 5 persons groups
  • Tandem flights are only allowed with persons living in the same household
  • Commercial tandem flights are not allowed
  • Cable cars are closed on the mountains

8th of June 2020: Is it going to be date when cable cars open and commercial tandem flights will be allowed? We hope so!
